Mckegg doesn't float around he just stinks and I could be wrong but hopefully saw a little more push from Chytil the final two periods vs sharks. He was moving his feet and even going to the net. Very very small sample and he needs to do it again tonight.

I'm not saying that the fourth line is actually better than the third I agree, but with the third line you know what you're going to get oh, the fourth line is much more promising, but there are definitely are question marks. Seems like it`s been forever since the last game, even though it really wasn't that long, just jonesing. We really need to stomp on them, so I can get my Philadelphia "CREAM" cheese fix.
Next two upcoming games are going to be real difficult and we need to bank on these two. No damned let down, and looking forward to the next two games. Regardless of how Philadelphia sucks, you just can't take any NHL team for granted. Carolina took a whoopin from Columbus, so that just goes to show.
Really dont understand why Greco didnt get another start, obviously coach saw something OR maybe he can't handle 2 NHL games in a row. Lol.

McKegg is a vet who played for Gallant. Gettinger is organizationally ahead of Greco. Do we agree with it? Of course not but coaches love the McKeggs of the world.
you arent getting anything with that 3rd line. Especially with mckegg and reaves. The 4th line at lwast u have a chance at scoring. But probably less defensively responsible.

Posts like this are part of the reason GDT's are getting to be unreadable. The same people come in and just make post after post about the guys they hate. Don't like Chytil? Great. You do you. But the kid is on a 3 game point streak and hasn't been on the ice for a goal against in that span. Try being a fan of the team rather than an opponent of one of the players.*
And to be fair--it isn't just you, and there are others who are FAR worse, but I literally don't bother with the game day threads much anymore because of the sheer number of people on here who would clearly rather shit on their least favorite player (regardless of how that player is performing) rather than cheer on the team.

The McKegg abuse is reaching meme levels. He’s a replacement-level fourth liner, which is fine. I guess everyone wants the Hartford guys because there’s potential upside, whereas McKegg is what he is. The team is in first place and trying to stay there, so the coaching staff is going to go with known quantities like McKegg. And it’s not like the organization isn’t already looking to the future. What’s the average age of the lineup, like 25? You can’t just plug in a bunch of 21 year olds and fast sim through the bad part.
