Quick was good... That's about it. Bound to have a game like this sooner or later, all teams have them. Sutter will give them the kick in the ass they need and then they just need to forget, move on, and get back to work. Onto the next game... GO KINGS!

Jesus Christ. I guess I picked a good game to miss 80% of. I do remember the Sharks kicking our ass twice late in the season and propeling the Kings to re-examine themselves.

Maybe this is the wake-up call for the team before the playoffs.

Only good that can come of this is that they play a furious next couple of games. If not, we're in deep **** and won't make any noise in the playoffs. The next games will be a huge test of character...

I think the Kings were expecting the Stars to just hand over the two points. Poor effort.

Hopefully it reminds them that their success is built on hard work.

Well that was just wow.

Worst game all season, the Kings get to play Dallas once more. Dallas can pretty much bank on two more points it looks like.

:)

fraser in richardson out

muzzin/ellerby out amart in

break up the 1st pp unit.

I guess some people think we would have won this game if we had acquired a #2 LW and the guys running the Kings twiiter account kept quiet?

That was worse than the Little Rascal's rendition of The Nutcracker

Gonna be hard to forget about that one. All the Kings flaws were laid out on the table.

A.) PP #2 needs a scorer on it.

B.) Muzzin and Ellerby on the same pairing is a disaster of epic proportions. You wanna talk about unsustainable, unsustainable is 4th in the conference and expecting to win a playoff round with those two guys playing together.

C.) The Kings hitting game is starting to go away too. Dallas surpassed it tonight.

It will be interesting to see how DS handles the roster after this because IMO all three guys in the press box tonight should be in on Thursday.

I won't even bother singling out any one particular player. The whole ****ing team was awful and should be embarrassed.

Melvins rule...

Exactly what I thought of

Nothing like a good ass kicking for a reality check before the playoffs. They beat us at our own game tonight and flat out embarrassed us doing it. Hope they stay out there and skate ladders. I'm gonna watch Miracle and envision our players puking their guts out.

No one plays good hockey for a full season. We were due a clunker and got an absolute abortion.

Now, I'm gonna kick back, turn off anything hockey related (everyone around us sucked tonight too--we're still in fourth, for those of you who aren't gonna chug ammonia...also, Dallas just beat ANA and SJ too), and let Sutter work his magic.

For the rest of you, back to your regularly scheduled complaining about how Twitter lost us this game, how our 2nd line LW was the only problem, and how Bernier > Quick. Peace!

The Kings were living in a house of cards the whole game. Were lucky it was tied after 2. One card fell and the whole game collapsed! The Kings deserved the result. Kings need to pick it up!

This game is on Sutter, we weren't prepared. A forgetful game, but it seems we are having too many of those.

Sutter needs to be better and make sure we don't suck ass next game.

We need Greener back so badly, even though the whole team sucked Ellerby was trying to out-do everyone for number 1.

Sutter is the one to blame, not quick, we hung him out to dry. Our defense sucked, and Our offense especially kopitar, was no better.

We need to prepare much efficiently for the next game.

On a random note I have no idea how anaheim does it, stats or not, they are winning and are so much more consistent than us, how do they find those players that all mesh so fast. They have some really good coaching.
