Caps goalie had their back, ours didn’t. Simple as that.
Swayman gave up 2 goals and he's to blame? How about the Forwards misfiring?
What a misdirected take.

Well, if he's injured, he shouldn't be playing. That is if he's actually injured.Caps blocked shitload shots man
Pasta been playing injured & it's been no secret
My only complaint with J-SWAY is he doesn't shoot enough.Swayman gave up 2 goals and he's to blame? How about the Forwards misfiring?

The hate for some is real Sway got paid so it should be 50 games and 50 shutouts. UnrealSwayman gave up 2 goals and he's to blame? How about the Forwards misfiring?

As the Marchands and Geekies of this club go, so go the results.
There are times where they look more than competent offensively.
There are times they look anemic.
Cannot honestly expect them to do much in the playoffs with this cast up front. Nor do I see a path to add anyone who moves the needle significantly.
The only difference I observe in Pasta's play compared to previous years is his shots aren't going past the goalie. The league is now quite aware of his one-timer and has closed that scoring opportunity, which was a big part of his scoring.
As for the rest of his game it's weak. It's always been weak.
I do believe he stills leads the league in shots on goal.He has
It seems he has missed the net more on prime chances.

Well, that's pretty much all he's getting paid for.He isn't bashful on shooting the puck.
Why the need for a sarcastic reply? The players I mentioned are attainable salary wise and Kreider is VERY available.
Very durable though. The guys neck is wider than his head for crying out loud! I’d love to have the rest of his contract. He is also 34 years old.
He misses Lindholm big time.Someone has to explain to me what Carlo brings to the table? The only positive I see is that he has a reach? absolute zero offense, not physical, horrible passer,
Pasta has some type of nagging injury (my bet is lower body/groin). Frederic is not finding chemistry with his ever-changing linemates, Coyle is picking up lately, Carlo is just Carlo(he’s never going to be who many HF’ers want him to be). It's a mystery to me why Pasta, Frederic, Coyle, Carlo and Swayman's seasons have been so far below expectations,
You can have a scoring chance and no shot on goal. A breakaway where you beat the goalie and put the puck over the net, for example. The Bruins had a lot of really good looks that they missed.36 scoring chances? What the hell do they consider a scoring chance.
Bruins only had 27 shots on goal and I don't recall many of those being difficult chances.
You might be right, but I did not say there would be, what I was trying to say is if there is enough is enough interest then try and create a market, not sure are not right, but a good GM, should be trying to do so. If they could get him going again, it would help the cause, I would not give him away though, and I know you will not agree with me, but if needed and possible, sign him with a limited NTC. I know he will be a FA, but take nothing for granted.Teams are probably interested because they think they can get Freddy cheap. Because, ya know, he's been lousy this season.
Isn't gonna be a bidding war.
You cannot win many games when scoring zero or one goal in a game, but they were playing pretty well, maybe a timely save might have helped, but who knows.I actually thought today he was more noticeable than he has been, didn’t accomplish much but I did notice him.
It’s up to Swayman . Just hope he catches fire . It is possible.
People blaming Swayman and never played nets in their lifeSwayman gave up 2 goals and he's to blame? How about the Forwards misfiring?
What a misdirected take.
The guy can't win here.Hats off playing through it knowing they need him.Well, if he's injured, he shouldn't be playing. That is if he's actually injured.
I'm not a big fan of Pasta, so I tend not to give him an excuse.
My only complaint with J-SWAY is he doesn't shoot enough.
The team keeps trying to feed him even though he's covered. Like I said before, this team doesn't seem to learn from their mistakes! Coaches continue to put players in positions to fail. Geekie is a third liner, Brazzeau is a passable second liner or a good third liner, Chuckie should never see PP time, Freddy should be in the ECHL.The only difference I observe in Pasta's play compared to previous years is his shots aren't going past the goalie. How many games this year did we score in the first few minutes to be the only goal in the game? Only one I can remember winning and Swayman stood on his head to get the win 1 to 0. The goalies are the only real positive this season and the only positive for this game was the Chuckie hit on Chycrin. You cannot win many games when scoring zero or one goal in a game, but they were playing pretty well, maybe a timely save might have helped, but who knows.
