It's unfortunate the partners that Schneider has played with so far. I think in an ideal scenario he would've been slotted next to a good veteran that could take him under... that hasn't been the case. Nemeth sucked. Braun on his off-side was decent but brief. Jones has struggled, Hajek and Harpur are eh. Give this kid a legitimate NHL partner and we'd have 3 solid pairings

100%, but just don’t have the cap to do this (or add speed) except at the deadlines

Definitely the most overlooked player for us this season. Just goes out there and does his job day in and out. Getting more and more comfortable in the offensive zone as well

Schneider isn’t ready, but it’s intriguing to think about what the Rangers could do w/ his and Bread’s $20mm in cap and a pretty good stock of assets.

I don’t get why they can’t give another young kid a chance, not much depth down there in terms of young dman.. Can use another LD Lindgren type regardless of younger player or a young veteran like Lindgren.
