I'd take Rask over Ullmark here. But still think Varly should've won the Vezina over Rask that year.

As a Bruins fan, I'm giving the edge to Ullmark. He played on the overall better team but I think Rask had a better defense in front of him. GSAA comparison is in Ullmark's favor.
Ullmark did benefit from an easier workload though (10 less starts), so you could hold that against him. He just played incredibly solid in nearly every game. Just under 90% quality-start (QS%) rate. I haven't seen any other recent Vezina winner come close to that.

I don’t know why Rask is leading this. Ullmark has much better stats in a much higher scoring era
