Player safety should fine the idiot linesman for that disgusting act they pulled on McQuaid. He put him in serious danger.

I was worried when I saw Spooner out there with a minute to go, but I'm glad he proved me wrong. Claude must've had a panic attack when he realized he had accidentally put him out there. Great game from Spooner and especially Krejci, who is rounding into a monster form once again. Rask was also key once again, keeping them in it when things looked dire.
The Bear dances in Buffalo!
Spooner 3 goals 3 assists in 4 games... suddenly his season totals get respectable. Does this mean he's buying into playing wing? Do we decide to keep him and hope for more?
Or did he suddenly become tradable?
My worry remains... he's arbitration eligible and I see him getting at least 3 mill next year. He has to prove he accepts being a winger if he figures into our long term plans.
It might be a good idea to shop him this week
Julien is finally learning that if you play Spooner with linemates who have skill, he will produce.
Great prediction by DKH.
In what certainly rates as perhaps their most crushing loss of the season, the Buffalo Sabres blew a two-goal lead and fell to the Boston Bruins, 4-2, Thursday night in KeyBank Center.
Ryan Spooner's wicked one-timer from the slot with 3:53 left snapped a tie and gave the Bruins the victory. It came on a strong cross-ice pass from David Krejci, and Spooner's shot beat a screened Robin Lehner high over the right shoulder. Spooner added the coup de gras on an empty-net goal with 51.5 seconds left.
The loss in the opener of a home-and-home series dropped Buffalo eight points behind third-place Boston, which currently owns the final playoff slot in the Atlantic Division.
The physical and often chippy affair in KeyBank Center was played before a sellout crowd of 19,070, the third of the season.
The surliness between the teams figures to grow as they met again Saturday afternoon at 1 in TD Garden. It is one of just two home-and-home sets the Sabres have this season; the other is against Columbus in March.

I also felt that here we go again down 2 goals early in the game tonight.
But the bruins need to hold onto Spooner. But the refs should be suspended after what happened with Quaider.
Finally? He's played with Krejci 90% of the year.
