Last time he fought him he ate a few right away starting slow.He remembered .Well, he would have used to just attack…throwing wild…but he waited…progress.
imo best thing a hockey fighter could learn is judo. the grip fighting alone would give a huge advantageIf fighting is part of your game I suggest boxing with instructor in summers to learn to use other hand.Fight a righty grab right shoulder feed the lefts Or tie your right and pound bag steady with left till u get good at it.
Take this from someone who has boxed and fought in hockey, they are completely different. Probably be better to learn MMA grappling and learning to keep your balance while someone is grabbing you. There is no grabbing in boxing so its hard to mimic the type of fight on skatesIf fighting is part of your game I suggest boxing with instructor in summers to learn to use other hand.Fight a righty grab right shoulder feed the lefts
Most fighters are right hander. Strong guy like Freddy grabs that little pukes right shoulder he can so sone damage if he can use the left .imo best thing a hockey fighter could learn is judo. the grip fighting alone would give a huge advantage
Not Judo but Keith Magnuson was a black belt in Karate. Lousy fighter IMO. ALWAYS out of control when he threw. He would (as you say) eat some huge knuckle sandwiches.imo best thing a hockey fighter could learn is judo. the grip fighting alone would give a huge advantage
I’d rather him work on his shot. Honestly, I wouldn’t have him worry too much about fighting. There aren’t many guys in the NHL anymore you really need to worry about. If fighting is part of your game I suggest boxing with instructor in summers to learn to use other hand.Fight a righty grab right shoulder feed the lefts
He should be can’t believe that trip wasn’t called. That was bullMarchand STILL looks pissed off. He's most effective when he takes it out on punishing them by scoring goals.
Ok Mione......your turn to lead the squat thrusts at next commercialI'm sleepy.
Argh
I hear you but if I knew I was going to be fighting I would want every advantage I could get .Freddy has a good shot just takes him time to get it away.I’d rather him work on his shot. He just needs to be smart and know who he’s fighting. Like if you fight the way he did against a Ryan Reaves you’re going to get flattened.
Not many technical fighters anymore.
Playing too lax tonightJesus Christ, Swayman.
