That team had toughness.
Yeah but it wasn't 2011 level tough yet. The season before of course ended with the Scott Walker turn the other cheek incident. We added more toughness and a year later won a Cup.

Wideman was getting exposed sort of like Carlo but opposite player. Imagine if the GM had stuck with him like Sweeney has Carlo? Couldn't score in a brothel but we all knew the Kessel trade would age well and TO was garbage.

Chiarelli was also 10x the GM Sweeney is. Not even close. That year he added picks Kessel for a haul and then Kobasew and Morris for picks and we still had a foot in the ECF. 2012 he should have given up more to try and repeat but he planned for the future we only got like Zanon and Motteau at the deadline. Assbag Sweeney gives away firsts like they are candy and blows the 2015 draft yet somehow still has his job a decade later despite being too cowardly to trade anyone.

Last draft Sweeny never had a pick until the 4th round. That's when you close you're eyes and just point at the list. Just hope you find a nut like a blind squirrel.

It's his fault that line didn't cost them last night.

Sweeney holding him hostage on that line till he lowers his contract demands.
All three guys on that third line are mediocre 5 on 5 players. Acting like Wahlstrom and Brazeau are bringing down Frederic is just another example of you attempting to absolve your binky of any and all responsibility for his own shitty play

Seriously, name any other player on the club who wouldn't be brought down playing with those two. That line wasn't a problem for them last night. It also wasn't ever going to be a solution.

The problem is Frederic is the player most likely to utterly vanish than rise to the challenge. Other players might try playing to their strengths to make an impact.
Brazeau arguably has more offensive talent than Frederic as well. Both are complementary forwards.

He got one shift with Pastrnak in for Brazeau and it was the team's best shift of the night. Just dominated the offensive zone.

He's having a rough year but in no way is being helped out for offense like they did with Geekie getting bumped up on line 1 or Coyle now with Lindholm and Marchand doing everything they can to feed him the puck. Neither of those two did anything in the bottom six and neither were "challenged" with propping up 500 lbs of molasses on their wings either.

I watched one shift close last night with Bruins hemmed in.Jackets had puck low and Freddy was by the hashmarks. Not 1 time did he look over his shoulder to see if anyone was coming. The guy needs a new team and Bruins need more futures. He is a fake tough guy too.

I actually agree with the bolded. But that statement would also apply if you were talking about Frederic and Brazeau or Frederic and Wahlstrom. Which is why I don’t understand why you feel the need to defend Frederic. All three members of that line have played poorly and none of them should be immune from criticism.
