Great win, Budaj played outstanding.

Kopitar at this point is a third/fourth line Defensive Center.

Wanted the win but was honestly just hoping we wouldn't half ass it out there. Felt so good to get that win to end the year and to see we can still play like that.

SJ is the best team in the division and was on a 4 games streak and we took it to them. Should be encouraging if you only watch that and like the CBJ game...then you watch the Vancouver game and pull your hair out

I think the Kings took Van/Buff lightly, they paid for it. IT happens.

Lots of teams take Van lightly, most of the Van games I have watched, teams have a real poor showing vs them.

I believe that for sure and I know it sounds like an excuse but the schedule was also absolutely nasty. That shouldn't have affected the Buffalo game or the Vancouver game in particular, but good lord, travel all across the country for three weeks for two 3-in-4s and a back to back is despicable.

Thank the Maker for Jeff Carter.

Big win, Vancouver is starting to creep up.

Love a decent showing against the Sharks, without Toff, Kopi, and Gabby.

Kopitar will be glad December is over.

December numbers: 14GP 1G 6A 7P -5, that's decent if you're a third/fourth line Center, getting zero PP time.

Ouch Kopitar.

Finally a home win against the Sharks. Finally. They played aggressively, and decisively. It helped that SJ played on back to back nights, but the Kings actually took advantage of it.

Tuesday should be good. Need another big effort.

Sutter really needs to put Brown back with Dowd.

Pearson/Carter/Lewis
Brown/Dowd/Seto
King/Kopitar/Nolan (King/Nolan always play well paired)
Clifford/Shore/Gabo

Sorry but Gabo is a third/Fourth line player at this point in his career.
He is just ineffective, guy has 9 ES goals in his last 72 NHL games, only 12 goals total in that span. Also Gabo is only averaging about 13-14 mins a night, his ice time continues to fall.

Anyone have that Thornton cheap shot on Brown?Hopfully the league looks at both that and the two handed slash on Forbort.

BTW Happy New Year Folks.....

Gabo is not done yet. He still has the best hand/eye coordination on the team and it's not even close. Just give him a chance to start clicking with his linemates. Yes, he is older and has lost some speed, but he is still capable of scoring. Put him with Carter and Pearson.

He hasn't been capable of scoring much for 72 NHL games now. Nine ES goals in that time frame, his ice time continues to fall.

Putting him with Carter is the last thing you want to do, you want Carter/Pearson to continue shooting the puck.

Peter Budaj last 7 starts:.955 save%, 1.28 GAA and 2 shutouts.

The Kings are also 6-0 in those ugly jerseys.

Thornton is such a *****.

Nolan does that slash and he's sitting for two games.

Thornton wasn't stopping until he got penalized. Sharks were doing whatever they wanted that shift. Refs had lost control and said **** it.

I haven't seen the Sharks come unglued like that since the 2014 playoffs though, they were definitely rattled in the sense they were looking for blood. Love that our guys were hitting with purpose. Tuesday should be fun

Carter is singlehandedly carrying this team, one of the most beastly regular seasons I've seen from a player in a long time. The guy deserves a medal or something. Kopitar is doing his best Hanzal impression this year.
