Team is working extremely hard, we pretty well outchance everybody, but it seems that either we run into a hot goalie or our goalie craps the bed like Rask did tonight, extremely frustrating to watch as a fan, can only imagine how it is for a player. A couple of things that need to be done ASAP, exile Nash and Hayes and fire Sacco.

At the end of day its about getting points This team has to much deadwood.409 shots is worthless if players shooting pucks could not hit broad side of a barn.Skill matters and Bruins are lacking enough. No top 4 d man is killing them.

If they would stop with the lazy wrister to start, they might find that the slap shot actually doe work.

Do Chara and Bergy still play for the Bruins. I haven't seen much from Bergy this season and I'm still convinced that Hal Gill has suited up and is wearing #33 for the Bruins.

This is Bergeron's Lost Season. Let's just hope it's one season.

Chara is cooked. He's crumbling earlier in the season as the years go on. Usually, he's ok-decent until Jan/Feb. He's been pretty ok this year, but he's starting to break down about now. No idea what he and McQuaid were doing on the last goal. They're like 3/4 defensemen at this point.

Miller bonehead cross check/ they score. Columbus bonehead cross check, we don't score.

We're a one line team basically. We're NOT making the playoffs; book it; quote it; accept it.

If I hear Jack Edward's say "so and so has set a new season/career high in saves tonight" again this season, I'm going to lose it. 40 plus shots yet again, controlled the game foe basically they final 50 minutes, and they lose.

Rask had an off night, but it'd be nice to see this ****ing team pick up the goalie who has stolen them plenty of games this season for once.

Too many years passengers right now, and it's unfortunate, but Bergeron is right up there in that group. If he's nursing an injury, sit down for a few games at this point and get right.

They did pick him up, but then he fell back down again.

Well it's great that he found his slap shot but it came at the cost of decent defensive play. Come on, he was brutal in his own zone tonight and has been for a few games now.

He may have found his slap shot, but the goalies are expecting it and can stop without breaking a sweat. He looks lost in his own zone and needs to prove he can still play defense.

He's been good at times this year but at other times he looks lost as you stated. Look for him to get worse as the season wears on.

We see this Chara story every year for three years now. Every year people point to his play at the start of the season and his conditioning and dismiss the fact that he falls apart and wears down a little earlier each year that they demand he play top pairing minutes. Carlo is a rookie and wil be gassed from the jump to the NHL by February.

Krug - XXX
Chara - Carlo

...is the only top four scenario that makes this team a playoff team. Yet, they continue to ignore it and it will cost them a third season in a row finishing in the 9-10th spot in the the eastern conference.

This team is in suck pergatory, and will continue to be until Donny , clode, and cam are shown the door. Too bad ownership is just as incompetent.

Take my comment FWIW, as I didn't watch the game, but man, didn't we just play the best team in the NHL? I, for one, am pretty proud that we kept up with them.

We'll miss the playoffs again and the whole front office and clode will be back again, and we'll continue to to be mediocre.

if bergy is indeed hurt which no one really knows at this point is true. I believe then he should sit down until he is healthy.bring some young players up who are playing well and give them a shot.

Columbus had lost twice to the Bruins and Torts certainly reminded his players of that and they came out flying.

But the B's came back and made a game of it.

2 big games coming up with Buffalo as the Sabres are 6 points behind the B's but have 3 games in hand.

I think Carlo is hitting a wall.

Very excited about his future, but worried about the rest of this year.

I fully expected Carlo to need and get some games off at some point this season.

Side note, this team is the kings of almost scoring

rask was dopey early on and that cost the bruins at least a point in this game. Rask cannot allow 4 goals and expect team to win .

Messes up what lines?

Oh you mean the other lines that can't score or generate offense?

You must be joking.

Who cares about messing up other lines when those lines aren't producing either.

Take a deep breath.

I knew I'd get a response like this.

I meant that we don't have enough RWers to cover Backes playing center right now.

Please tell me how you'd have the lines if Backes was centering Pasta and Marchand.

If he's hurt or not is irrelevant at this point. Give him a week off either way. Looks like a good opportunity coming up, 2 games against the Sabers and then NJ.

He hasn't been himself, if he is hurt, he isn't hurt enough not to play. If he isn't hurt he needs a mental rest . He has to get going, I think his lack of production is the single most important factor setting the Bruins back this year.
