Sacco is assuming two things apparently on his pp strategy: 1) he has Ovi in his prime at the left dot, and 2) he has Shea Weber in his prime at the point. Without those two delusional assumptions I cannot imagine anyone being so inflexible and clueless to keep trotting out the same failed strategy time and time again. And Boston management is completely incompetent to keep this idiot on the bench.

Management has been on Christmas vacation since the start of the season.

It's a Bruins power play. Gives me a chance to grab a snack and a drink and wait for it to be over

Nope, still irritated by the ineptitude of that pp unit.

Need to try something different, let's try Chara in front again

And lost, again. Problem they've had all year, this is a results league based on goals scored, not feel good moments. You can play 20 mins in a game ala CBJ and just score more goals. That would feel a hell of a lot better then 40 with a loss.

I hear you. I'll take an exciting game like this than that snooze fest they usually put on. Win or lose, I was intertained tonight.

Not happy with the bad start and 3-0 hole.

Not happy to see another team win the game on a PP goal while the B's PP continues to suck the life out of the team.

We all know that this is not a good Bruins team and Columbus just won their 13th in a row so after the first 10 minutes the B's held their own against a superior team. They just are not good enough to win a game like this.

Marchand had the most ice time for forwards despite being one of the worst players on the ice.

Rask had a Khodubin game.

Colin Miller's going to see lots of ice time when B's are behind.

Krug with great energy but no direction, all over the ice.

Carlo -2, plus/minus plummeting (now +3).

Power Play is killing them. Embarrassing to see talented players bite the big one every time they have a man advantage. If its a big spot, the worse they are.

Colin Miller sitting next game no doubt. Julien calling his penalty not necessary probably gets him upstairs

I am sure he will sit when Liles is ready. Wish Claude would see the shaky vets costing games too, Chara was not good at all tonight. Bergy should be a checker now the way he is playing. Put Backes center with Spooner and Pasta. Tampa 3 pts behind with 2 games in hand

The big money duds tonight

Rask 3 weak goals
Chara Horrible
Bergy Sleeping all night
Marchand needs to be better

Do Chara and Bergy still play for the Bruins. I haven't seen much from Bergy this season and I'm still convinced that Hal Gill has suited up and is wearing #33 for the Bruins.

Wrong!!! He played good the rest of the game. Impossible to be a plus player every game as a defenseman.

Doing this !!! changes nothing he was TERRIBLE tonight and has been in the last 3 games. If he wasn't playing with Chara his numbers would look much different.

Nothing wrong with a young D hitting a bump and he clearly has. Question is does he get to work it out in the line up or out of it for a few.

gotta get bergie off the first line

I would like to see Backes back with Marchand and Pasta. It was Marchand's best game of the season against Columbus with that line.

However, this won't work because it messes up the other lines in a bad way.

Chara is 40 years old. What do you expect from him? Bergeron should be benched a game ,but Claude is to loyal. At least stop rewarding him powerplay time.

Team is working extremely hard, we pretty well outchance everybody, but it seems that either we run into a hot goalie or our goalie craps the bed like Rask did tonight, extremely frustrating to watch as a fan, can only imagine how it is for a player. A couple of things that need to be done ASAP, exile Nash and Hayes and fire Sacco.

Messes up what lines?

Oh you mean the other lines that can't score or generate offense?

You must be joking.

Who cares about messing up other lines when those lines aren't producing either.
