I agree. Just stay big, square to the shooter, blockers closed (no 5-hole). Move forward a bit, to cut down the shooter's operating room, and wait to see what he does, so you can react to it correctly. If you miss with the poke, and the shooter still has control of the puck, you're DEAD.
