Based on his one and a half regular seasons, so far, he really hasn't lost all that much.

He is largely responsible for multiple egregious coaching errors which cost the Boston Bruins dearly in round one against the Panthers last season.

He also inherited a fantastically deep club.

Probation is the best he deserves from this corner.

I remember about 20 years ago the Bruins were playing Montreal in the playoffs. The French CBC announcers went on strike as part of a union Issue but the techs didn’t so the games were still televised. First few games of the series I watched them with no commentary. If that was an option today I would be all over it. Mindless banter and updates on how the coach wants the PP to score or how we need to hear the off season plans of a ref……is annoying!!!!
