For being 42 and not fighting in 3.5 years, Stipe looks about as good as you could expect.

Jones looks a little less pudgy than I remember him looking last time, too.

I mean he is a fireman so it doesn’t shock me that he’s able to stay in shape lol

And as for the mess of a main event Jon has “Dana White privilege” and that’s all I’m going to say on the matter

I don’t understand why people are so mad about this fight, do people really think the UFC was gonna tell Stipe to get bent after they booked him for a title shot and his opponent got injured? The only mistake they made was making Sergei/Tom an interim title fight in the first place
I don't either it's not like they pulled this out of nowhere it was the game plan they announced pretty much immediately after last years card fell apart. I'm more pissed they're charging $600 cheapest seat for a card that is beyond mediocre.

Fair . But while I would never have called him "out of shape", he used to not really be shredded either. I don't think that was until the DC fights.

He still looks pretty good, though, and he's closer to 250lb which is up 15-20-ish pounds where he fought DC and Francis the second time.

Really hope Chandler wins tomorrow. Nothing against Charles but we've seen him fight Islam already and I think Chandler would be a really intriguing matchup for him

Very noticeable for both fighters. Stipe was almost getting too lean there in the DC fights (what do I know as he won the last two. Lol), but I liked seeing him in the high 240s here. Also liked seeing Jones sub 240, looked much better than he did against Gane.

Also, not that this should have surprised me given Stipe is a HW, but he's a really big dude. Very rare to see a face off where Jones isn't the more physically imposing guy. They're essentially eye to eye.

If I had to bet it'd be on Jones unfortunately, but no way in hell should he be approaching -700. That is absurd.

Really looking forward to Oliveira vs. Chandler. Just one of those fights where there's no way it's not good. The first one lasted about one round and was awesome.

The main event is a fight no one wanted or asked for. It's completely pointless and all for Jon's ego. I hope we get a good fight out of it but it feels like a squash match. Hopefully we get to see Tom rightfully fight the winner.

Nickal should easily beat Craig as well. Time for a big step up in competition if he does.

I am looking forward to seeing Ruffy again. Another one that should be completely one-sided.

Just one of those cards that doesn't do a whole lot for me.

Even a dominating win from chandler and he's still *at least* one more from a title fight imo.

I sincerely hope Jones eye pokes Stipe early on and Stipe insists he can't continue because of it. The UFC deserves the black eye of an embarrassing main event. No pun intended.
