Carrying three goalies results in things like this. Should dress Primeau as a 12th forward, just like dad.
Back in the day if playing we would dress our backup to play, as there was an extra goalie that year and our team got 2.

After a few games our actual backup was told to play out the rest of the season as we were 16/17 and he was 5'3. Someone literally scored on him by shooting the puck over his head while he was standing.

Ah yes, I know the feeling. I've worked the NYE night shift a few times in my career. I think I might prefer that to working both 31st and 1st? Oh well.

It's not that big of a deal to me to be honest, worked on Christmas too, at least they pay more, so there's that, and my colleagues are great people, it helps.

By what you wrote, I guess you work early tomorrow morning, I hope you have good colleagues and/or working conditions too, less of a burden when the first batch of people you see on a new year are alright.

Yes, thankfully my team will be a bunch of people I like!

So,

Flight was canceled. I’m now departing around midnight. We have seven hours to wait and… we lost our premium seats.

I bit the bullet. First class tickets from Vancouver in the pod for everyone. I’m now the greatest dad in the world.

For tonight anyway….

Happy new year everybody. All the best to you and yours.

Yeah good thing there is a game tonight, otherwise I would die out of boredom. Unemployment sucks.
First few weeks, maybe a month is great and then you're like I miss money.

During the playoffs it's great, well the first two roads as there's usually a bunch of games on.

Former Leaf Frankie Corrado doing color on TSN2 tonight. Is that temporary or full time with Dave Poulin moving on to the Sens front office today?
