Honestly as much as I am firmly in the camp of wanting/hoping to see the team improve, at this point a top 5 pick coupled with a better and smarter offseason would be best

That'll playout in front of me regardless of however I feel.

I root for winning while the chance is still available. (OTT/PIT/CLB/PHI/NYR/NYI/MTL) Those are essentially the teams we are competing with in January for the last playoff spot. I'll admit 8 points out is a stre-----tch.

The no points in 10 is coming while playing with absolute trash as wingers. I don't like the idea of yoyo-ing Kasper when there's slugs like Copp, Tarasenko and others have been visibly worse despite having a couple points here and there.

Oh then they have to win! Would love to see what McClellan sees that Lalonde never did with the lines. I hope he can make it work somehow. I want to see them play with fire like they care.
