The Panthers are a strong at protecting the neutral zone and the center of the ice in the defensive zone. A lot like the Kings in that regard.

They are continually making contact with our players off the puck and they are very good at it. A real pain in the ass team to play against.

I think 2006 was the one where we played Sens with Hasek in net? We lost 3-0, and Hasek was like, that was the easiest shutout ever.

Markov was suspended that game because he threw his stick at a ref after a game in Toronto. He got a 3 game suspension.

I remember that game. I think Sens players were betting on our number of shots in the locker room after the 2nd period.

Strangely enough , both games in which we got only 12 sog were against Ottawa

It’s mechanically correct but could revert 20 minutes of hockey is my gripe. 10 seconds max or something would not make the call more accurate, I get that much.

No need to exaggerate there. 10 seconds, 30 seconds or 1 minute, it doesn't mean it was never off-side. A team should not get away with an off-side if they score and no amount of touches or highlight reel goals should change that.

Well, that 2002 team was brutally bad. By 2006, we at least had Plekanec & Markov in the lineup. Price had been drafted, while Pacioretty & Subban would be drafted in that summer's draft (2007).
