No doubt Pickard has been good for us but I think part of that feeling of ease is because he is usually playing against bad teams. He only has three starts this year against teams that aren't in the bottom ten in the standings.
Exactly my thoughts as well.
I am not even sure if Pickard has started against a playoff team.

Kyle Rehman is tonight's ref. Not good.

This is WHAT the back up is suppose to do. Back ups play against the bad teams and the starters play against the better team

People are talking. It’s make or break for him now and if he really wants to win this is it. No other contender is waisting anything on him even with his pedigree. I think we see him pick it up and am rooting for him.

If there are no weird or fluky Ottawa goals early in the game I’m sure they boys “Bring it home” !

Merry Christmas ya Filthy Animals !

RNH does a lot of things right and is a far better topline player and especially given his 200ft play and reading risks of counters better than McD or Hyman would. Basically any coach with acumen slots RNH in topsis or topline regardless of production because the player is 200ft smart. McD or Drai would BOTH want RNH on their line. He's that type of player.

I don’t disagree. I’d actually prefer RNH with Draisaitl.

Kinda surprised Skinner hasn’t got more of a look with McDavid.

Skinner is tough because he has to be in the right spot. He is too slow to waltz around with the puck. Easy to pick pocket. That's why he scares me in the D zone. I don't think the coach trusts him. I did not know he looked this slow TBH
