This is our last game before the Christmas break. If both teams empty the tank I think that favors Oilers. Look for monster games from McDavid and Draisaitl

Oilers have to stop backing into games. It’s the only flaw in their game right now. Last game with my son who’s in town from Belgium for Christmas, and we’ve been to the last 3 just like old times. Been a lot of fun! Let’s get one more win to close the Christmas home stand out on a positive note.

Rumor is apparently the oilers talked with him and they mutually agreed it isn't a good fit so they'll look to trade him

I'd have to see proof of that. I know that that Got Yer Back podcast mentioned it but I get the impression it's not based on inside info. I wouldn't mind a clip of it

Yeh I hate it too. We’ve played 33 games this season. First 5 games Skinner was the most effective forward we had. Then went cold. Then demoted to 3rd line where he showed spurts of production. Last couple games he’s been back checking pretty hard.
We signed him to be a top 6 scorer. And we’re barely giving him a chance to gel with this team.
Hyman was good his first year with us but he didn’t really pop off for us until year 2. It takes time to acclimate and really find a role and learn to play with one of McDrai. And here we’ve paid Skinner $3M to not even give him a chance to do that?
Zero PP time. Zero time with Drai or McD. Literally just signed him to put him in a position to fail at this point.

Yeah. You can argue that they shouldn’t have signed him, but that’s a moot point once the ink dries on the contract. They have him on the roster. He’s got a 3m deal with a full no move. Maybe at least try to put him in a position where his skill set isn’t a negative ??
