To be fair I was thinking the exact same thing as you. Was going to come from the other direction and say “sure, snooze through the first 2.5 periods”Sure. I will take the blame. Give the team a break today.
Is that you Gilles Villemure? Can you hear me or is your Vezina trophy plugging your earsWell, I must be off (NY obligations and such a/k/a Knicks basketball). Thank you for allowing me to join you -- good luck to Kraken and Kakko.
Yes....tis I!!!Is that you Gilles Villemure? Can you hear me or is your Vezina trophy plugging your ears
My first goalie mask was the Gilles Villemure special...him and Eddie Giacomin were a great duo for the NYRangers in the early '70'sYes....tis I!!!
Definitely a MysteryThis seems all too familiar a feeling after a Kraken game. Kind of, well, that was another blah effort against a team that is hardly a powerhouse. Uninspiring with little sense that things are going to get better.
Mine was a Giacomin -- best tandem in Rangers history...only pair that even came close were Richter/VanbiesbrookMy first goalie mask was the Gilles Villemure special...him and Eddie Giacomin were a great duo for the NYRangers in the early '70's
Their puck movement in the offensive zone is shocking. They don’t seem to know how to position themselves with or without the puck to create seam opportunities. They either cycle it out to the point endlessly, or try to hamfistedly jam the puck from the dasher through the middle slot area. It’s honestly a bit bizarre to watch, the sort of “have these guys ever played together?” vibes you get from beer league. The amount of time I gasped in horror at moment where they had zero control was too many to count.
The fault is on coaching for this one.
