I didn’t see which line that was, getting absolutely caved

Sure. I will take the blame. Give the team a break today.
To be fair I was thinking the exact same thing as you. Was going to come from the other direction and say “sure, snooze through the first 2.5 periods”

I can’t fathom why Bylsma has Burakovsky out there for the last minute of 6 on 5. He’s been absolutely brutal all night.

This seems all too familiar a feeling after a Kraken game. Kind of, well, that was another blah effort against a team that is hardly a powerhouse. Uninspiring with little sense that things are going to get better.

Sometimes I think Bylsma needs to put Montour and Dunner out there together for more than 1 dam shift and maybe play them to "death'!!!

Definitely a Mystery

Would legitimately love to know why that line got 3 full minutes more TOI than Wright and Co, given their abysmal metrics and performances of late

Like that’s the stuff that DOES make me point a finger at Bylsma

At second look, the Beniers line was dead last in TOI?

What is Bylsma doing, really?

I was only able to watch the first and it sucked so bad. Did they give up every single neutral zone puck? Every offensive zone puck? Every defensive zone puck? They looked like shit every minute I watched. Every player, except Daccord. No idea what happened after that but it clearly was garbage.

Caught up the second and this might be the worst game of the season. They played like shit in every aspect except Joey. Evans + is entirely because he scored the goal but he f***ed up often. It was bad. Larsson was shit defensively despite obvious effort. The horrific effort In The neutral zone is the worst effort of the entire season. Dog shit.

The amount of time I gasped in horror at moment where they had zero control was too many to count.

The fault is on coaching for this one.
Their puck movement in the offensive zone is shocking. They don’t seem to know how to position themselves with or without the puck to create seam opportunities. They either cycle it out to the point endlessly, or try to hamfistedly jam the puck from the dasher through the middle slot area. It’s honestly a bit bizarre to watch, the sort of “have these guys ever played together?” vibes you get from beer league.

Edit : Oh, I forgot to mention the number of times they blindly try to reverse the puck up the opposite boards when nobody is there.

The no look Bjorkstrand set up to Evans was nice. I should have just stopped watching with that.
