Maybe an unpopular opinion but Drew Doughty talked about firing slapshots into guys knowing they may be blocked. But after getting stung with a few guys tend to back off and are less eager to do it so you start getting them thru more often.

They need to make sure the blocked shot doesn't get behind them but I wouldn't be mad if the Wings ripped more shots at the feet of defenders

It feels like these guys have quit on LaLonde and are trying to point out how stupid some of the concepts being preached are. Sorry but you have seen it in a few pressers too, there are problems in this dressing room.

Really the most predictable 1st period. Uninspired, no grit, no urgency, stick to their same plan that hasn't worked all season. The strategy, the execution, the effort, everything is just off.

There's definitely a total lack of any chemistry. This is not a super talented team but you do have Larkin, Raymond, Kane, Debrincat, Ed, Seider.

There should be moments of them having it together but they're so so rare.

Shoulders are shot though he still unloads the odd heavy shot. Was good in a depth role in Florida and this isn’t Florida. Was surprised Larkin and Raymond couldn’t jump start him more.
