Shooting the puck and going to scoring areas = good things.

We don't do any of that consistently... and we're sleepwalking

While true, he is a career scrub. Im not going to expect more.
It’s why starting him is dumb. He had a few good games while Igor was out and Georgiev sucks too. But we need Georgiev to get his shit together, Kinkaid isn’t realistic option to rely on even as a back up.

If we’re trying to develop and nurture our players, Georgiev should be starting to get him out of his funk and let him get his game back.

If you solely care about winning, start Igor regardless of whether it’s a back to back.

Kinkaid starting serves us well from no angle.

It is so easy for teams when they just have to take two players out of a game offensively and not worry about anyone else. Wash and Pitt got the goods to do it.

This isn't a Quinn issue tonight, this team has looked awful in back to backs this year, and I'm not at all defending Quinn in general.
If the team continues to look terrible in back to backs isnt that on the head coach who cant seem to get them ready for the 2nd game?

Lafreniere with 4-minutes in two periods. Good development for your 19-year old first overall pick.

Can't believe the one time we hit the lottery and draft 1st overall, Quinn ruins his confidence in less than a full season.

You need to play them for better or worse. I understand I've been tough on Lafreniere saying he needs to earn it, but he will never develop with his insignificant ice time. Every prospect has growing pains, give them the chance.

Try and get a goal this period, and go into the 3rd, down only 1-3. Still plenty of hockey left.

This team needs defenders or the defenders they have to get better.

We have a fantastic pair playing 27 minutes but then we have to get 33 minutes out of a replacement level pair and an ECHL pair.

I don't know why we don't go with Miller-Fox and Lindgren-Trouba.
That would just water down both Fox and Lindgren

It's very clear what we're seeing. Quinn is too dogmatic, strict, and stifling offensively.

He leaves and the team scores 9 in 2 periods then goes on a great run offensively.

He gets back then BAM! 5 shots a period. Players gripping their sticks, feeling Quinn breathing down their necks, reluctant to play offense to avoid being "taught" more Quinnology.
