One of the problems is a significant lack of guys I'd put on it to replace the guys I want to take off.
I’m sure Alexis Lafreniere would transform the PP with his 5 career PP points or whatever the f*** he has. I mean sure let’s switch it up because it’s not working anyway but it’s not going to change a thing.

God, that would be a disaster. Jack is a 5’10 175lb 23 year old Justin Bieber lookalike. Mika is a 6’2 205lb 31 year old man. Everything in me tells me Mika would be crying afterwards. Hughes may be super hated by NYR fans, but he’s shown more fire and aggression this season alone than Mika has in his body. Somehow, Mika would find a way to turn that fight into a massive embarrassment.
I love that you answered that seriously.

He’s not OV. He’s not Sid. Guy doesn’t toggle a PP.

The boy got paid....

But he's never really showed that emotion at NHL level, despite it being talked up in his scouting reports pre-draft
It's easy to be cocky and push people around when you are the most skilled and and most physically developed player on the ice in juniors.

Quite another to be a fringe second liner with average physical traits in the NHL.

The only place I'd really want Lafreniere is the front of the net. Let's face it, we got an elite grinder 1OA.

If Kreider is on his way out then yeah, sure, I guess.

What about the other spots? You have Panarin and Fox. Two spots are going to be a non-factor no matter who you put out there. Chytil I guess?

Our best players are bad hockey players and taking them out just makes us a team of plugs.

No but i felt like last year he at least threw some hits. It just seems he has completely shied away from any contact this year. He isn't a small kid. He should definitely be able to throw around a little weight

Bieber grabs Mika by the hair until MZ asks “is it too late to say sorry?”

NJ's trying to do the "run them out of our building" thing, I wouldn't mind if the Rangers gooned it up instead but dunno if they have enough guys to do that
They dont' have the horses to actually do it, but you can make a point instead of letting ice dancing commence.

Uhhh they can't be serious with that crosscheck. You have to start two handing people at this point.
