He’s taking on the lack of intensity of the team.
Other than bringing in a player with a dynamic personality anyone Drury brings in will just fall in line with these mopes.
Look at how Niko Mikkla played with us and then how he played with the Panthers.
The biggest eyetest thing is they play with no joy. It's all labor.

Today’s trivia question:
Four Rangers have scored a goal within 9 seconds of the start of a game.
Who was the last?

I think Don Maloney might have been one of the four but that would have been a long time ago.

damn I'm sick of watching Lindgren play. And Zibanejad. How many low effort plays can one person make in a game.

and that goal was on quick

Credit to some of the Rangers who have enough pride to stand up for themselves and their teammates. Only half of the players with letters on their sweaters have been packing it in.

It's inconceivable that Meier exploded a stick on Panarin and the response wasn't even a performative cross-check or slash on Jack Hughes.

Until that changes theyre cooked. They don't fight for each other.
NJ's trying to do the "run them out of our building" thing, I wouldn't mind if the Rangers gooned it up instead but dunno if they have enough guys to do that

Who would have guessed with the PP not clicking at the top of the league that the Rangers would have trouble scoring. Not like we’ve been complaining about this shit for years.

We’ve even got mini previews every postseason when we get eliminated in the exact same way because the PP dried up and we don’t have another scoring trick in the bag lol

Mika fights Hughes, the season turns around.
Do it.

God, that would be a disaster. Jack is a 5’10 175lb 23 year old Justin Bieber lookalike. Mika is a 6’2 205lb 31 year old man. Everything in me tells me Mika would be crying afterwards. Hughes may be super hated by NYR fans, but he’s shown more fire and aggression this season alone than Mika has in his body. Somehow, Mika would find a way to turn that fight into a massive embarrassment.
