Their PK has been great, and that's important when you want a play a physical game like the Jackets do. Can't be afraid to go shorthanded. Wennberg may not be racking up goals, but his defense is exceptional and getting Dubi back has been a huge help on the PK as well. Not a coincidence.

Great win, although it's hard to tell what we did so well tonight. The Bruins kind of imploded.

Can someone post the lines for tonight?

I couldn't tell if Calvert-Dubinsky-Hartnell was an intentional thing or not, but it seemed to work when they were out there together. And was it Morin-Johansen-Skille? Morin's skill seems to compliment Joey, or anybody with talent really. Tropp-Wennberg-Foligno is kind of a weird one - they played well tonight but didn't get on the scoresheet, I don't see them scoring much.

Lines were mucked up from the first when Cam got hurt, then Skille went out. Finished with 10 F's. Calvert double shifted a lot.

Who buys glass seats late last night for a great price - thinking he'll be sitting behind Bob for 2 periods to witness a CBJ win? Literally right behind the goal.. Section 120.

Yeah, this guy... :cry::shakehead:help:

I myself wanted to vomit this morning when I saw on Twitter that Bob was out.

Edit -- Tickets are for sale, check the ticket/meetup/places thread plz and PM or email me plz.

rather have Forsberg in net

I think Lucic won but not by a landslide. Prout got one or two nice ones in. But Lucic definitely landed more.

Makes sense, since he rushed Prout when he had the advantage. Pretty good fight though.

NHL officially rules CBJ goal was good goal because the goal was not reviewable because the goal was not scored immediately after the puck hit net:

Calvert double shifted a lot.

But who could we add to him for an "upgrade"? He's just a tweener that can play up and down the lineup in WHATEVER role you need him in. What we need is a soft, 1 dimensional, "scoring" winger.

Woohoo. Nice to see a lopsided W that probably should have been closer. Prout couldn't get his right loose to throw at Lucif....Lucic.

McBackup made some timely saves and the Broons missed the net with plenty of net to hit at least three times.

Lets get back to .500 on New Years Eve.:handclap:

#CBJ Dalton Prout on fight w #Bruins Milan Lucic: "You can never be too happy when you get jumped."

Not sure what Prout is upset about here. Seemed like it was mutually agreed upon to go.

It was a jumping. They never squared up. Lucic just carried his momentum into Prout and started whaling away.

Looking at the replay, Lucic went straight to Prout wth speed, dropped his gloves and started throwing bombs. I think this surprised Prout. Myabe Prout thought he would have a chance to get ready and position himself.

You nailed it, even Jody said during the broadcast that if you call a guy gutless, you square up and let him get his feet before you throw, Lucic jumped him a bit and stunned him with those 4 bombs before Prout could get his feet. Prout landed some good shots as well but it wasn't a fair fight, hopefully they have the rubber match in Boston. Lucic got run all night, Calvert took a run then scored, Boll absolutely drilled Lucic, Savard knocked him for a loop too. It was great to see our whole team step up physically and man handle the big bad Bruins.

One of my friends from high school has her birthday today, and she is a Blue Jackets fan. I'm hoping the Jackets win for her.

I assume you were watching college football because, you know, that takes priority and all, so I'll let you know, they won in fantastic fashion for your friend, look forward to you joining the rest of the viewers after football is over and providing more gems. So who won the Alaska State Jr. College and Little Sisters of the Poor Community College bowl game tonight anyway?? I bet it was a beauty

If you see the video of Prout saying this he was smiling and laughing so he wasn't exactly upset, but I agree with him, Lucic took about a 60 foot run and came in swinging and landed those initial 4 punches before Prout could get squared up, that's the beef, you couldn't see it on the FSOH feed of course because they are always 10 seconds too late to fights and scrums...

Now Lucic didn't say he got jumped in the previous game but any chance he was just mocking Lucic?
