Winnipeg is one of the toughest places to play for visiting teams. Plus, we have that big matchup with Minnesota on Saturday looming and it'd be too perfect to go into that game on a 14 game win streak. One of us will trip in our last game before then and I think it's us.

I say we lose 3-2.*

*I've felt like we would lose almost every game in this streak so no sense in changing now.

Going to be a tough one, but the CBJ always play a solid, simple game on the road. I think this will hinge on goal-tending. If the CBJ stay with their road strategy, and Bob is Bob, this is a winnable game.

This feels like it should be a letdown game, but who knows with this team.

I'll stay positive and say:
CBJ 4
WPG 2 with Dano getting 2G.

Winnipeg can certainly score with the best of them, but they give up goals in bunches. Seems like Dubi is due for a big game. Looking forward to seeing Laine play.

Well...the CBJ's last four opponents all were high possession teams (ranked above CBJ in Corsi Close) and all victories, although 3 of the games were ugly games which may be called a coin flip games by certain media.

Winny is 24th in Corsi Close...a favorable matchup for CBJ. This may be a fun game to watch. CBJ have done pretty well against low Corsi close teams, going 10-0-1 vs. NYR, TB, DET, CAL, VAN, NYI, AZ, COL.

I'll guess 5-1 CBJ

Every game past I think 7 wins on this streak I've predicted we would lose, so now that I think we actually will win one, we'll probably lose. 3-2 Jets. Dano gets one.

This could be high scoring. Jets team D stinks, while Ehlers - Scheifele - Laine can seemingly score at will.

The Jets are a 46% face off team - 2 percentage points worse than Columbus.

I like the challenge of taking on that "score at will team" with the CBJ defense - will be fun to watch.

At the risk of repeating what I said before the Boston game - seems about time for a Werenski 3 point game - goal and two assists would be just fine.

Let's also watch their 77.3% penalty kill (28th) against Columbus 27.1% (1st) power play. Hence Werenski's 3 point night.

Its a good time for a road trip. Lots of distractions at home over the holidays and some big home games last week. Get back on the road, recommit to the system, build the locker room brotherhood.
