Yes Skinner probably should have had bothThe first two goals were terrible- almost unbelievable.
Watch this at the 6:24 min mark. In the span of a second, Kastelic makes a picture perfect bank pass off the board to Hyman, who immediately one-times the bank towards the net. At the 6:23 mark Swayman is still looking in the corner battle, he doesn't get a chance to get set for the shot, he's turning his head as Hyman is shooting. Kastelic gets his stick in the way, McAvoy does a flamingo in front of the net and it squeezes through.
Sorry I just don't see that play as a soft goal. Bang-bang play on a shot with plenty of zip on it. 6:23 the puck is in a scrum in the corner, 6:25 it's in the back of the net.
And Swaymam plays Florida every night does ge ?Linus is hot.....playing against mostly bad teams
As a matter of fact.....jkYes Skinner probably should have had both
It's not low IQ. It's actually high IQ. He's sees the passing play is there, like last night to Zacha. It's that he's OVER-thinking it. He needs to stop trying to make the prettiest play and just follow his instincts to shoot the puck into the net.

Players are taught to put the puck deep into the zone b/f changing. Often the coach whistles to the players when he wants to change. They gave up a third on this road trip doing the same thing. The coach should be yelling to the players not to change or at least getting the players off the bench much quicker. These changes were VERY slow. Bad line changes have always been considered a coach issue.Line changing is on the players, not the coach.
IQ and decision-making are different things. That's funny.
Pasta makes bad decisions because of his high hockey IQ.

People who are very creative can often run into option paralysis. They can imagine lots of options and courses of action, but then might have trouble deciding which one is best.
Mcavoy is such a wrecking ball. A knack for keeping both teams in the game.
And Swaymam plays Florida every night does ge ?
almost as funny as watching Swayman play like Jack Cambell after holding out like some kind of $uper$tar.Nope, but marveling over Ullmark's numbers during a stretch of mostly bad teams is hilarious.
I’ll do my best Peter Puck for you.Lindholm won 12 of 15 faceoffs and had a lucky deflection goal. Not sure how any assists were given on that one, let alone two.

Again, aside from a terrible WPG game, he's got solid numbers over his last 10 starts.
aside from a game he stunk ? A side from the soft goals, ......let's just count his good games and good saves. Ha!Again, aside from a terrible WPG game, he's got solid numbers over his last 10 starts.

McAvoy passed to Marchand, Marchand passed to Lindhom who then shot and scored. Therefore McAvoy and Marchy draw they assists.
YIKES, seems like the perfect storm tonight. First home game after a long and hard (and successful) road trip. A goalie who hasn't played in 9 days, and a frustrated Sabres team that may be ready to end their losing ways. The Bruins play the Sabres next. They've lost 11 straight I think.
That scares me.
