Kastelic is a top 9 player. I don’t hate him leading an elite 4th line but not at the expense of our top 9 and he seems to be playing markedly better than 2 or 3 guys in the top 9.

I'd agree except for his best play by far has come on that 4th line. Maybe it's just the perfect fit of skills and mentality there.

I thought he looked pretty darn good out there pummeling guys out there with Coyle. I think he helped put some energy back in Frederic’s game but at the end of the day they didn’t seem to put points on the board. I thought he was playing better than Frederic at the time. I’d like to see him play in Brazzeau’s spot I think him and Marchand would be a really nasty pair out there together particularly in the corners.

I agree. Guy just brings it every night.

Frustrating moment of the period was when Frederic chose not to pass to Coyle who was all alone in front and instead tried to stuff it short side. WTF?!?

Oesterle another giveaway. Guys having a tough night.
