Why do people always jump off a ledge after every loss? Why? Did some expect another touchdown today? The other teamed played pretty well after being embarrassed 2 straight games. Not unexpected.
Because people no longer have control over their emotions and it’s one reaction after the next. Lol.

Brutal loss. Absolutely Brutal. Ice time allocation has been an issue from the start. Howden, Lemmy, Rooney, Blackwell, Smith and Hajek.

This team never shortens the Bench.
Correction: “I don’t always shorten my bench, but when I do, it’s always the wrong players” - DQ

That's fine. But that wasn't a good goal to give up. Maybe it got deflected and I didn't see it, but he made better saves all game. But it's the third period. I just know that at least later in his career Hank would make sure that game gets into OT.

I dunno. Shesterkin stops what he sees. His achilles heel are these long shots with screens. It was Hank's big achilles heel as well. If you take away their eyes and it just turns into a prayer. They have to hope they close everything up and the puck hits them. Shots from the point often go in just inside the post as a result. Both goals were similar. If you want to blame anyone on the 2nd goal -- blame hajek and smith for covering the same guy and blame Rooney for not deflecting that puck to the wall.

no. f*** these clowns. machinehead and I need to be left alone with some socker boppers. This game was just stupid and dumb.
 dragging machinehead into it. I feel you, man

Panarin sucked absolute ass today

this...he single handedly killed a few pp's and i dont even wanna know his turnover total. everyone has off days but you can't throwing no look hope passes on those days...just keep it simple. compounded the issue too because they were bottling up the mika line and we needed someone else to step up - and kakko and strome were going but every time they got him the puck the play was dead. actually thought laf/chytil looked good at times...gauthier was pretty invisible / didn't give them any help today. good news would think very good chance kravtsov gets a chance there tomorrow - bad news theres no other home for gauthier. 4th line can't be out there with 5 to go. lemieux was actually pretty good today which is prob why but rooney was not - still can't understand what went on in his brain to just drop that puck back through his legs there. blackwell was there.

schedule this season is tough, its the nhl...when a team gets humiliated like that twice at some point they're gonna gather some pride and we just couldn't match that today. contenders can will through that and find a way to grind out a game like this, we're not there. and the last 2 mins said a lot about where we are. not to take away from what the top guys have done lately - points are points, but elite teams and players at least make the flyers win that there. fox gave an unreal effort, but we cant force the issue when we need to...we couldn't even get control of the puck.

When a goalie keeps his team in a game where they get completely outplayed and lose 2-1, it’s not a case of a goalie shitting their pants.

You just have unrealistic expectations from goalies. You should avoid commenting on goaltending for the rest of your life.

Bern’s 27 player trade proposals have more common sense than the garbage you’ve continued to discharge on these boards regarding goaltending.

Sorry I said a goalie can't be elite if he only plays 55 minutes. Once again elite 55 minutes, shit last 5 minutes won't work.

While I don't think that deflected shot was stoppable, if Shesterkin has one glaring weakness, it's the screened shots, in which case he might need some Allaire magic with positioning.

Now, some are bashing Knoblauch. Gotta love fans.

Flyers didn't play like an ECHL team for a change. Bound to happen.

The team that dominated won. No surprise.

its not bashing knoblauch. its mocking the clowns that claimed that the rangers beating the flyers when they were playing like an echl team is proof that knoblauch is a better coach then quinn as if he did anything in those games to cause the results

I disagree. The kids are being thrown on a garbage leftover line when they're clearly all struggling together in the bottom 6. It's a waste land and the coaches know it.

Break up the top 6 and give Chytil some linemates.
Not sure what else they can do with the lines. Lafreniere doesn't deserve to move up in the lineup and he's not going to play ahead of Kreider and Panarin. Could move Kakko back down but then Blackwell would be back on the 2nd line which most people would complain about. When your #1 and #2 overall picks are producing like 4th liners, it's going to be hard to find a combination that works.

They have to steal one tomorrow in a game I expect them to lose. They find a way to get that one back and you can forget this one. But you gotta hold serve on the weekend and get that game

Yeah, but as with Hank Shesterkin is 10 times the player any of those three players are or ever hope to be. It's just disappointing because I've never seen him play a better game. I felt like I was watching prime Hank. But prime Hank gets the team at least one point, likely 2.

Shouldn’t be too upset with this. They outscored the Flyers 17-3 in their last two meetings combined. This was bound to happen. Just move on and focus on Washington tomorrow.
