I don't deny it. But the difference in chance only goes so far. And then there is the lottery. It is the "Hockey's Future" but picks and prospects are slightly - not terribly but slightly - overrated over proven assets around here and they have always been. That is amplified by the optimism of fans regarding their own assets, until proven otherwise. Which happens very very often.You don’t know of course. But you have more chance getting it at 4th than 8.
And EDM proves this all. They had so many awesome picks and they were downright terrible until CM. And even then it is taking them time to get the culture right and they still haven't done it.
Bad culture is bad, as much as #4 is better then #8.
