Not really. Preems grew up in the Philly suburbs. Not only that, but Detroit is Primeau’s hometown team. Typically coaches make a point of featuring players in these games.

He’s still from Michigan and his dad went to the Cup Finals with the Red Wings. I bet it still means something. Not really. Preems grew up in the Philly suburbs.
You think ??????He’s not seeing the ice unless Monty falls apart LITERALY, like losing an arm in the dressing room and whatnot.
It will happen soon. I can see Primeau get one last chance in ColumbusHappy to hear that Monty confirmed for tonight, but I do agree Primeau needs to be given his walking papers.
I am a bit torn. But since Laine I am kinda moving into a place where I think we have enough prospects and picks and a single draft will only have a limited impact. I think we might calculate that we should start building a good culture to avoid being EDM for the longest of time and the Sabres now.
If I were to compare myself as a hockey player to current/ex-Habs I’d say I have the net front presence (ie garbage goals) of Gally, the backchecking ‘tenacity’ of Drouin, the playmaking ability of Newhook (non-existent) and the dedication to fitness of David Savard.Tonight's the night, i feel it........4 assist night for the New hook
oh he understand, was his way to support tank... but now that team playing well i predict a new backup after the freezeSt-Louis is DONE with Primeau but HuGo don't understand.
That reminds me of the time when I stopped playing for reals. That was when I realized that there is only a rather limited market for small, slow wingers with non existent stick handling and a terrible shot plus a bad work ethic in the NHL..If I were to compare myself as a hockey player to current/ex-Habs I’d say I have the net front presence (ie garbage goals) of Gally, the backchecking ‘tenacity’ of Drouin, the playmaking ability of Newhook (non-existent) and the dedication to fitness of David Savard.
Laine doesn’t change the rebuild. He’s not the guy you build around, not even sure he’s here after next season.I am a bit torn. If Monty gets hot its gonna be a Huet situation. We all remember superbowl weekend 2006 cause of that guy.Happy to hear that Monty confirmed for tonight, but I do agree Primeau needs to be given his walking papers.
You are right. But he is a piece that makes the whole more visible. It is all right now. The difference between #4 and #8 won't make much of a difference. Draft is still and it has always been a crap shoot. What we really need is a #1 C and #1 D - Hutson is the perfect #2. There are no guarantees on those.Laine doesn’t change the rebuild. You don’t know of course. But you have more chance getting it at 4th than 8.You are right. But he is a piece that makes the whole more visible. It is all right now. It makes perfect sense. What have these people done to my Habs??So we're looking for a vet goaltender as well? They should waive Primeau give Dobes a couple of NHL games in a row.
We already have all the prospects we need. I would even be willing to trade the pick as a piece in a deal that would bring us a big young top 6 forward (possibly center) with term. We also need another defensive minded RD to play with Hutson. We're pretty much set otherwise. All options and all picks should be in play. If there's no good deal to make we just keep our 1st pick. You are right. But he is a piece that makes the whole more visible. It is all right now.
