Last game I took my son to was a total snooze fest against the Blues. The highlight of the night was a young guy with downs (maybe 16) sitting pretty close to us and he got up between whistles to groove to the tunes, and pump up the crowd. Didn’t take long for TNSE to get him on the jumbotron and the building came to life cheering on his big smile/exuberance/attitude. It was one of the lone bright spots and it made my night.
Feels like yesterday when I took my daughter to her first game and I will never forget it. Make sure you get him to build a custom poster (first Jets game), I did that for my daughter and I still have it.

Enjoy the game @RustyCat and Co. Win or lose it's always an adventure to see your first hockey game. Mine are back in love with footy and cricket etc., but still talk about how much fun they had with their adopted sport when we lived in Canada.
Looking forward to a win and a Laine Special in a (heavy) losing cause for the Habs.

No problem, i agree it's hard to believe it's been 13 almost 14 years already. I found it interesting that we have a captain now , Lowry, that's basically a carbon copy of our captain Kris King .
