Wow i forgot about this, what an awesome video.

What a perfectly fitting song by Winnipeg’s own Watchmen. Thanks for posting.

That's okay @John Agar, you'll be with us in spirit...or drinking spirits. Most likely the second one...:sarcasm:

Both...

They will have the game on the Big Screens around the room...

I'll be wearing my Chef Heritage Classic jersey... hope he doesn't float tonight...

I'll have my share of coolies as well...

Cheers...

idk....899 feels a bit steep for that dinette
On a side note, My sister and I were looking for a kitchen table and chairs as a Christmas gift for my parents one year. We went to all the furniture stores, but all they sold was "dining room tables". Last stop was Kern-Hill and yes they sold kitchen tables, exactly what we wanted. Even got a phone call from Nick Hill himself wishing my Mom a Merry Christmas and hoping the "Kitchen Table and chairs she got from her kids was what she wanted..." It was! Thanks Kern-Hill! :thumbu:

P.S. I still have the table and chairs in the house...

Oh look, the Jets get to play a rare Saturday night game!

What time does the beater and pickup truck procession from St, Mao to Canada Life Centre begin?
All the boys from Iles Des Chenes, and St.Malo, all renewed their Autopac yesterday. They are dawning their Habs sweaters, and will all be jumping in their beaters, and heading out to the arena for 6 pm. I hear they are pumped up for this game.

Amazing video! It hits the same now as it did back then.

CBC always did such a good job at making Hockey Night in Canada feel like an "event" instead of just another hockey game broadcast.
Honestly if you are a Jets fan you have to watch that video and yes i totally agree about Hockey Night in Canada and CBC .

My little guy (who has Down Syndrome) won tickets to this game at a Special Olympics event and I am so excited to take him! He has never seen a hockey game live in his life and I am super pumped to see his reaction when we walk into the arena. I dont care for the the Habs, but what a first game to go to with an Original Six team!

Go Jets Go!
