I'm not impressed with Mersch at all so far. People are just so focused on Brown and a couple of others that they're looking over Mersch handling the puck like a hand grenade and being too lumbering/slow to be effective thus far.

I"m sure he'll figure it out, but right now he's basically a drunk Dwight King.

Weal and Mersch are basically AHL players, being forced into the lineup atm.

Wtf is sutter seeing keeping Lucic with kopi? Change the good damn lines back. Basically just swap Lucic and Pearson.

It didn't work well to start the season either.

Mersch is battling well, but as you alluded to, he's not handling back pressure very well and he keeps moving the puck the moment he smells a Maple Leafs jockstrap.

The Shore and Kopitar line have been the best lines. Not really sure what Lewis' line is doing, and the Carter line didn't sustain much pressure.

I still think the Kings are outplaying the Maple Leafs aside from the scoreboard. Bernier is keeping them in it, so far.

Sutter already explained why the Lines changed.

Wants to get toffoli going, carter is banged up, The bottom six is not playing well at all. Since the bottom six is a black hole, it's paramount that Toffoli gets producing again, That's why Pearson is on that line.
