Kane is one of the most skilled players in the league, I have a hard time blaming Quick for not stopping him in a 1 on 1 situation. That was an amazing play guys. Quick did what most goaltenders would do, he tried the pokecheck, then flailed behind him and nearly got the puck. That's really all he could do.

Those first two goals weren't great, but the third, great play by a great player.

No kicking motion whatsoever. If it's waved off, that's complete bull****.

It could have gone either way. Kicking motion is a judgement. It is more did he push his skate into the puck? I think the right call was made but feet don't have to leave the ice for a kick.

He was flailing in his crease as Kane beat him. At some point you have to expect the goalie to make a big save. Even Quick and Sutter will tell you that.

I just rewinded the DVR to check it out...perhaps you should do the same. I sincerely doubt Jesus Christ could have stopped that effort by Kane.

Holy crap! Hell of a final minute.. picking my jaw up off the ground

This is the type of game you hope for when you take a first timer. I always get duds against st. Louis or minny

You guys crack me up, blaming Quick for not stopping Kane (who is like the best player 1 on 1) on a breakaway as both D go after 1 Hawk and leave Kane alone.

Goal 1 might have been bad, but I can't see goals 2 and 3 being Quick's fault. But most on here are acting like we have Lolbarbera in net. How about lets not let the Hawks walk around completely open.

Jesus would of stopped it for sure.

Really? Come on. It's not like it was Lewis shooting. I hear the guy that scored is pretty decent....

All I have to say is forget Iggy this team is not going far in The playoffs within muzzin and ellerby In The line up.

Quick tried his stupid poke check on a skilled player. He tried it last time against Mason Raymond. He got burned both times. He can't be faulted for the situation he's in, but going for the poke check and failing twice in those situations should perhaps clue him in that players can read that move a mile away. It's easy to anticipate a poke check from a goalie, and if he loses that battle, the chances are he's going to get burned.

Not trying to call a fanbase out but the Hawks fan think we are getting away with murder on the ice? Whaaaat. I think we are getting called for the softest crap.

Hate to say it but Quick is only getting the 1a/1b treatment because of his past success and huge contract. Remove those two, a guy who has a sub-.900 SV% should be a backup at best. You can blame the defense all you want, but then again, why is Bernier having a much better year? Sure, his numbers come from a smaller sample size, but look at all his starts. Only one game in which he allowed more than 2 goals. Quick has done that a bunch of times. Please don't attack me for simply saying Bernier is the better goalie this year.

Now THAT is a way to emerge from a scoring drought! And to think I actually said out loud "this one's over" after the first goal. Not to be greedy, but we can has Brown beast mode in the third, too? Pls?

Where were your doubts these last two games?

You guys don't show up when Quick is doing his best to keep the team in the game.
