I haven't been watching this game too closely but the compete level in the 3rd is quite underwhelming compared to how we usually perform late.

Watching the Hurricanes feed and their announcers are clueless. They are saying that OEL started that with Staal. :shakehead

Regardless of the crap at the end, Carolina beat us at our own game. They basically played the perfect road game, so I can't complain too much.

They also keep saying how much of a statement this game was by the hurricanes and how much they "dominated play" and Smith kept it in it or it would have been a blowout... While Smith was fine tonight I think we actually outplayed them, we just got Justin Peters'd :cry:
