I see a team that can't score and a D that can't out muscle anyone.
Maybe there is something going around or they are just in a rut. I hope so.

If not. time to start wheeling and dealing. I'm afraid they are still going to be in it by the deadline and they will add some 65 yr old lead foot for a 3rd round pick or something.

But hey, like management keeps saying: The fans won't accept a rebuild. I guess I'm not a fan.

Get into the dance and you never know. Ullmark becomes hulk mode and they take off.

This team has not been much fun to watch since Thanksgiving

It may sound stupid, but the loss of Lucic may have been a bigger blow to their spirit than I originally thought

I'd like to remain optimistic, but they just aren't playing as a team or with any heart, and their lack of scoring talent has caught up with them

..only time will tell is they can turn this rig around

The thing I'll say for Geekie is at least he's creating and getting involved in scoring chances. 6 SOG in a game where no other forward other than Pasta could muster more than 1 is a good return. Shame he couldn't pot another, but he's a bottom 6 forward for a reason and lack of finish is basically a prerequisite for being signed by Sweeney. He's got a good motor though and he competes consistently. Been far and away one of the better performers of the last 2-3 weeks. As a centre, despite the faceoff issues, he's definitely outplayed Coyle of late. Good for him, but otherwise that's a problem both for Charlie and the Bruins as a whole.

Geekie can stay as far as im concerned, his effort/heart shows

This team has zero identity.

Remember when teams hated playing the Bruins? They knew they’d be getting smacked around. Going into the corners. Right now other teams are laughing because nothing will happen.

The weakest of that batch would walk us like a dog.

We are the team we used to make fun of.
The worst part is. Those teams would bully this bruins team out of the arena.

There are red flags everywhere right now with this team except the goalies.

50 games left in the regular season and it appears other teams have figured out how to beat us.
The only thing I really notice there after all this is the Bruins are in first.

Am I the only one who more than likely completely took this the wrong way?

They will figure it out. I think this break will help huge team looks gassed.
I agree with this . Simply put they are not an overly talented team . Everyone needs to bring there A game for them to win. Most fans expected them to struggle this year at the moment they are. As fans we need to be patient and hope they can get it together. Come February fist it will be time for management to be finished evaluating and starting to make decisions for both the present and the future of the Bruins.

Hopefully they still in top 3 in Atlantic. If so add on deadline but dont break the bank get a Marcus Johanssen type and roll the dice.

With guys upfront lucic and Thornton that team had to be the toughest in history. A mean machine.

I am not sure they have the resources required to add at deadline.

Didn’t say it sucks when they win. The goalie hug thing needs to go away now. Overdone, childish and embarrassing at this point.

Meh. If it's "overdone" then that's a good thing, we're winning.
However I guess now that we are in a slump it might bring some relief to some who hate it.
Hockey is for all ages and maybe some adults feel it's a bit over-the-top (and it is) but the young Bruin fans likely love it.
