they will not stand pat.
they are first in the division with no legit top C.
they will trade for a center and probably D and forward. as they should.
they have assets. you dont need 2 goalies in the playoffs.
after lsst year all that matters is how you are playing in april. these games mean nothing.

I was at Minnesota game - that was a very entertaining game about 100 hours ago - they need a break and Hanifin.
You're right...there was some excitement in that game, and the game in Toronto that the B's won in OT also was entertaining

..but other than those 2 games, there haven't been too many fun games to watch since Thanksgiving

DeBrusk, Gryz, and Lysell for Lindholm and Hanafin. They are both UFA’s for Calgary and it allows Calgary to avoid a repeat of the empty hand departure of Gaudreau. Add a sweetener prospect if necessary.

Debrusk and Gryz are ufas too so there's no point at all from CGY.

If I am the Bs I do that trade in a minute ...but to your good point if I am Calgary I wait as long as I can

if I can't resign Lindholm and Hannifin I trade them closer to the deadline

one caveat- if DeBrusk made it clear he was willing to sign an extension with Calgary at a reasonable number and you toss in Carlo instead of Grzy you might have their attention

I thought of that, but was gambling that they might have a better shot at signing the guys we send them than the two guys likely leaving. At least they have a shot at signing them and Lysell is an add-on. Completely understandable if they don’t bite.

They are a good team not great

Hanifin and or Lindholm changes this
take out the or and we have a deal

It's not and or

It's and Hanifin and Lindholm.

Now you're Conroy , you see them coming, what's the price for that ticket ?

Bruins won't be the only team trying to land those players.

Bruins right now I’d give a solid B grade for a team

A 105 point playoff team and a 50/50 first round
take out the or and we have a deal

It's and Hanifin and Lindholm.

definitely

Bruins have two needs and those two are close to perfect.

Both are FA and the Bruins will have money especially if they don’t resign DeBrusk

Hanifin I’m assuming is here for Christmas and probably is hearing the talk from family and friends about Bruins rumors

I’m sure his agent knows the Bruins interest if any

Lindholm not that easy - there are other teams who could use him as much or more as Bruins and have better assets to trade - and may extend and do sign & trade
