Wait, is this moon a blue one, too?

*runs*

I eat my share of humble pie. :p:

But honestly, I can't say enough about them. And you just saw TMac's interview, he was aggressively matching Marleau, Couture, and Wingels against Getzlaf, Selanne, and Perry. And so many starts in the defensive zone. Sorry, but my stat-loving heart is all afleury.

Just rubbing you out against the boards whenever I get a chance :D

Yeah, I've always been big on Tommy (off ice and on). I'm really stoked to see him getting paired where he can compliment and shine.

great game. I really want to know what the heck is going on in Todd's head though. Why change the system after the first 7 games, why wait till now to change it back? It's freaking strange. Sharks again look fast and dangerous.

He said post game that if he knew what to fix, he would have done it back in February.

I think he would have been better off admitting he had it wrong then saying that. That just sounds like he doesn't know what he's doing at all.

I'm eating my words from last game. Man, the Marleau-Couture-Wingels line was killing it. They played about 85% of their minutes against Selanne-Getzlaf-Perry, and started 80% of their shifts in the defensive zone, but still came out looking good. Wowza.

Cooter and Wingo have some serious chemistry!

Well, I suppose it's my karma for pointing out all your spelling mistakes.

But yeah, now you can see what DW was saying last season and what I've been saying all year: McGinn was traded because Wingels does everything McGinn could do + PKing + intangibles.

Still, McGinn would be a very useful F1 and can you imagine them going out back to back shifts and just hammering people? Not like McGinn makes a lot of money. He makes less than Burish and everyone would rather have McGinn than Burish I'm sure.

Yeah, I'm not advocating the trade (if we could have only traded just McGinn for Winnik or Sgarbossa for Winnik and then been able to re-sign him), but I'm just trying to explain why it made sense on some level to DW.

That's certainly a new one.
