steel panther rocks and so many song titles that would describe my feelings of the florida panthers but I probably can’t post them on here. Let’s go in the back door of bobrovsky.

That whole central sucks with the exception of the Panthers this season. The Leafs are ahead of them but they don't count because we all know they are frauds. If we get to the next final, we might have to face Florida again... I doubt New Jersey and Washington make it that far.

Today however, I just want the 2 points. Beating the s*** out of the Panthers would be a bonus but it won't numb the pain of us losing in game 7. Hopefully the oil don't give into Tkachuk's stupid antics because this won't go over well if they do.

Panthers mailed it in big time their last few games. Presumably the Oilers don't need any extra motivation to show up for this team.

Should be a good one.

Gotta think the Panthers are going to be highly motivated for this game given they haven’t scored a goal in their last two and Tkachuk likes the spotlight.
Meanwhile the Oilers haven't scored a goal while being broadcasted on Amazon Prime. I suspect one or both of those strange droughts will end tonight. lol

Hopefully the team is as disgusted as I am that pieces of shit like Ratf*** and Bennett have their names tarnishing the Cup and play appropriately. Who gives a shit that they got shut out twice in a row? Embarrass these clowns into a rebuild

Panthers have been shut out 2 games in a row; they are going to be hungry. We need to be ready and play exactly like we have been.

Game is on Prime? Well should start around 7 then.

floodgates usually open after a team gets shutout, doubly so after two. They may be struggling to score the last two games, that wont last forever. We've scored a lot lately too, this game is ripe for a regression to mean for both teams.
Our normal is scoring lots of goals… or should be. I’ll take Florida in a slump over Florida on a roll any day of the week.

That being said I could totally see what you are saying happening.

I am getting the feel that the team is putting a lot of focus on this run of games against some of the NHL's other top teams.

The Panthers may be motivated because they're playing like shit, but I think that the Oilers are equally, if not more motivated to put the boots to them too and really make a statement. Win tonight and we put ourselves in a position to clean the table before Christmas.
