I only watched one of the two games on Prime (the one against NJ), but from what I can remember the Prime broadcast was so much better than SN.

SN just cuts randomly in the middle of play to commercial, rarely starts plays at the faceoff anymore, and doesn't even consistently show penalties. Not to mention the BS blackouts, app freezes and glitches, among a whole host of other issues.
Thanks. heh. I'm not sure how clear I have to be I'm not subscribing. I'm a non consumer. I wouldn't make use of Amazon ever, for anything, have no need for their music services and wouldn't be watching anything on Prime but one Oilers game. The free month makes it just this game. I'll ride a pirate ship instead. I didn't think anything spectacular of the Prime games I watched. Too many trying to be different things on the Prime broadcast including the loathsome behind the net Cam being used too much. Also prime camera switches are odd on on breakouts and odd man rushes. They switch cameras too late in the play interfering with the viewing (jmo) Then other times they don't switch camera for awhile and seem to forget about even using zone cameras. About the one thing I liked is the pregame just showing the pregame skate and such.

You should just order something online and get prime shipping tbh, it'll likely save you money to get prime and get the thing you're getting in store, even if it's like toilet paper in bulk.

I'd rather stick something in my eye than have anything to do with Amazon. I wouldn't even give them my name or address. heh.

I only order anything online if its something I cannot get from retail stores and never, by using Amazon.

I like in person shopping. Being able to see the unbroken box something comes in, being able to handle it myself, not have electronics dropped on a porch in the rain etc without even ringing the doorbell. Online order and delivery is not a mode I like.

I am getting the feel that the team is putting a lot of focus on this run of games against some of the NHL's other top teams.

The Panthers may be motivated because they're playing like shit, but I think that the Oilers are equally, if not more motivated to put the boots to them too and really make a statement. Win tonight and we put ourselves in a position to clean the table before Christmas.
I agree.
This is the first game since the Stanley Cup finals loss.
I wouldnt be at all surpirsed if the Oil come away with big time statement win.
I'll say 7-1.

Better not be a trap game where after a few beatdowns , the Oilers think they got Florida coming in here with their B game. They need to be on their toes from puck drop, bear down on their chances and play like it's the cup Finals game 6.

I've heard that cancelling Amazon is insufferable experience and I just had that with cancelling a plan with another provider. 20 calls, various attempts to cancel, they just kept billing and then wanting to charge "late fees" for something I'd been trying to cancel, and hadn't been using for 10mths. It was a cellphone that was no longer working and we no longer wanted to deal with the same company. I'm leery of "free" promotions. The hook is always there somewhere.

This is increasingly what these businesses do. Make it so hard to cancel that you just get tempted to eat the expense and say f*** it, and continue getting billed, even for something you're not using. I wouldn't be using Amazon at all.

I tried talking to Microsoft a few weeks ago because I got double billed. Was such a convoluted process and was never able to actually talk to an actual person. You're right that its a tactic.

Rogers feels entitled to put out a shit product since they more or less have (had, I guess) a monopoly on it. Goes with their general attitude towards customer service, quality of product etc from my experience at least

Not just corporations gripping tightly, waiting to get paid on three completed / billable jobs right now and feeling like this meme

A year ago, these same sorts of deals I would have been paid on a while back

Guess which Oilers fan has an interview lined up? (Hint: it’s me, sorry for being off topic but I am excited)

I hope we continue slaying our dragons. 3.5 hours until show time!

I ordered a 128 gig SD card for my nintendo switch a few years back. They shipped me 10, I notified them and they told me to keep it. Was able to extend the memory of a few family members phones for free!
But I also had someone steal an Amazon package from the porch. They wanted a police report number to refund. It was a $15 door snake (or whatever you want to call the draft/sound blocker) so I just said forget and picked one up locally.

One time I received some muscle relaxant cream instead of whatever it was I was ordering. Reported it, and they sent me the item AND I got to keep the cream lol.

I've had pretty good experiences with the odd order screw up.
