I want to say thank you to both PhoPhan and ck26 for stepping in and making the GDT's. I'll talk more in the OT thread.

Congratulations to the team; great result.

I did not have a great feeling about that game for some reasons and bang, so much positive out of it; witnessing a team able to score goals in all situation is one of them.

I like Boedker's response to Walsh's cheesy question about a 2-0 empty net break away with Klinkhammer..."I would shoot it." haha
I think you're lying Boeds but I still loved the response, if nothing more than for disrupting another one of Walsh's "guys isn't that what it's really all about" moments!

I thought the response was interesting as well. Considering I watched him pass up a empty netter for the hat trick in his rookie season. Was in the third row and my hat was basically halfway to the release spot before I saw him do that. It would have been fine and all, if he didn't pass to his guy that was in coverage and ended up not scoring as a result.

not sure if it was already mentioned, but that was a sick move Vermette made when he carried the puck into the offensive zone, skated to the right side boards, turned towards the blue line to avoid pressure while passing the puck behind his back, pivoting back around regaining the puck heading towards the goal while the defenders headed towards the blue line.

lot of confidence going for him right now.

He looked better than Gretzky on that play.:)

It was at the other end, but my jaw dropped when I saw it. If that had turned into a scoring play, the move would have been replayed hundreds of times. If you can recall the stream or have it DVR-ed, it happens with a bit less than a minute to go in the second period, not long after we made it 5-3.

Yeah I skipped back on my DVR probably four times to watch that move again and again. In the face of two Islanders, enter the zone, slow up, pass the puck behind his back, off the wall, around the guy, and pick it up again moving toward the net. Insaaane. One of the Islanders he deked bit so hard on the play that he crashed into the Yotes d-man entering the zone behind Vermy. I want a gif...
