I think I have seen enough at this point where I can safely say this team is lucky to compete for a playoff spot. Its sad to say but it is time to trade off some players to get some additional picks and young talent. It happens to most every team at some point. Just not sure Donny is the guy to do this. Yeah sure, we'll waltz into Vancouver and beat another good team on the road after two miserable performances. I mean, anything can happen, but I am not expecting good things. This was THE winnable game on this trip if there was one.

Bad start with Pasta being lazy reaching. Too many penalty minutes for a guy who’s supposed to be your top forward. It’s the first shift of the game - move your feet. All of his penalties are stick infractions and he never picks anyone’s pocket anyways.

The fact that this defense is this bad baffles me. They should be a top unit honestly.

Id start seriously considering selling UFAs you don’t intend bringing back and see what some of your prospects have.

Everyone has to be playing up to their absolute max potential in order for this team to look respectable. They can’t get away with anything.

The record is what it is, but i have seen enough to know this team just does not compete every night, and is not talented enough to overcome it. I think 31 games in is long enough to assess. We are almost halfway through the season Don.
