See, now this isn't quite as bad as we "actually" are, but it's far closer to the reality than what we've seen through the first third of the season due to fortuitous bounces and bizarrely inconsistent goaltending that's run scalding hot and freezing cold.

We are playing F*ing Anaheim....How bad is the team or whatever you want to call this hot mess.

well they can't receive a pass in transition and its causing them to retreat a lot. They are making good first passes in the zone, usually to an open point, but we aren't connecting that second pass to set up a legit chance.

Bergy was here for the end of Markov's career. Markov had awesome years on the PP, especially with Kovalev. Subban was pretty good on the PP too, had good times with Souray before than, Wisnewski (who I wanted to sign and still think we should have, for a little revisionnist history), MB, Schneider...

Up to about 5-7 years ago we had had good to great PPs for a while.

Of course Markov was a masterful PP weapon, but the facts are the Habs PP between 2012-2013 and 2016-2017 was tied for 21st, which is bad. 2012-2013 to present is 31st.
