Yep, difference in the game was one strong drive to the net and a lucky bounce off a skate.

Great game, ultimately. McElhinney did a good job between the pipes again and we never said die, much like last year. If we are able to come out and play like that against the Devils tomorrow, 2 points.
We just needed to play the first 58 minutes like we did the last two.
Oh, and having Wiz, Bob, and Dubi's brain present would've helped too.

Not a bad game, but it's all about getting points, and the Jackets didn't do it. Need to beat NJ tomorrow night, but we'll see how much is left in the tank against a well-rested team. At least it's all-you-can eat night, so good times no matter what.

One of the linesmen called that the puck had been deflected, I suppose I'll trust his judgment since I don't and didn't have any other choice.

Reminded me a lot of the game in our barn, when one went in off of Comeau's stick. Tough bounces during each game, we haven't really been that far off of the Penguins this year, just have really struggled scoring against them

We were winning the battle on the boards and our d-men were pinching putting a lot of pressure on the Pens, but we didn't get that many good chances out of it despite having lots of good possession. There were rarely guys in front to take advantage of our possession time.
Atkinson looked like one of the slower guys out there, not sure what's up with him.
Johansen was gasping trying to keep up with Crosby.
I have no idea what Dubinsky is trying to do sometimes when he goes off the rails.
Some good efforts out there: JJ looked great tonight, was probably our best offensive player. Comeau was great on the cycle. Actually a lot of guys were good on the cycle. But we just weren't dangerous.

Not saying that at all. Just one missed icing and one questionable waive off in the final minute that leave me scratching my head.
10-10-13 for shots. Better than they had been doing, but too many of them were weak or ineffective. The Pens did a good job keeping the Jackets on the perimeter and Fleury seemed always to be squared up to the shot.

Whatever drives the ratings...difference in the game was that the Pens got a lucky bounce and the Jackets didn't, but never would NBC let the truth get in the way of a good Crosby story.
When they SHOULD be talking about Malkin's individual effort to get that first goal.
They talk about how "depleted" the Pens are, Yet we sure could have used Gaborik and Wiz tonight.
