I don't think he is underrated. A very good player but not a star IMO. Although he is really strong with the puck.
--
  • Although JJ is slow but he is better than Harris.
  • Fantilli must score. I think it helps him. Although he played excellent.
  • Werenski is a star.
  • I like Sillinger, really. Yes there are mistakes, but he is only 21 and was playing with enforcer Olivier and grinder Aston-Reese. Btw I think he can be a good 3rd line center. But why did he play in OT?
  • Johnson is becoming a star. Creative, great hockey vision, skill, better physical than last season.
  • JvR was quite good.
I hope we win next game.
Marchenko isn't one yet but he's becoming one. He's been making his teammates much better.

Fantilli needs to slow down, he's trying to do too much and it's a bit chaotic. He had a good game but he also had much better linemates which has helped him.

KJ is a star, dude is on pace for like 90 points.

Team needs Chinakhov back soon.

Many players made his teammates better but they are not stars. I doubt he will be. Of course if we have the same idea who is a star and who not.
In other I agree.

Should have had 2 more points for Jet the past 2 games and a bit annoying but considering we were supposed to be the worst team this year in the league and still hanging around at Christmas I am not going to lose sleep over it.

I team we have a lot of great developing talent but we also don't have enough experienced talent on this roster. If these guys in 2-3 years become the equivalent of Jack Hughes, Nico Hischier, and Jersper Bratt on the NJD than I think we can call them stars because they've had a little bit of success of a couple of sustained season coming into their primes.

They just need to keep developing and time will make them what they are a this point

Those guys aren’t very old either. All were 60+ point guys by age 23.

And all of them were in the NHL by 20. Hischier and Hughes were straight to the NHL and Bratt played 1 year in Sweden before coming over and making the team as a 6th rd pick.

Marchenko obviously came over later. Chinakov could get there if he could stay healthy. Fantilli and Johnson could easily be there by the time they hit 23.

Being on pace for 92 points and being a 92 point player are two different things. Let's see him do this over an entire season (maybe two seasons) before saying he has actually arrived as a star.

If you watch the play, you already know he will be. So many people are only willing to call things like this after they see results. Kj will continue to impress. 65-75 point season incoming.

Jesper Bratt plays with top centers, I wonder how he looked LONG TERM without them. I consider him a very good player, but he's not a star.
