He never really had control of the puck. There is 0 reason Sillinger should be seeing OT time over KJ or Fantilli

I mean 3 on 3 OT is basically playground basketball with a puck. The best defense is a good offense when next goal wins.

He's a 0 creativity player and a meh skater, not really the type of player you want in that situation but coaches seem to love him.

He tries really hard and I believe there's a notion he's defensively responsible but he can't do it 3v3. There's too much space and he's not fast enough nor creative enough to create on his own.

I feel like in the future we will have plenty of good OT players, Johnson/Fantilli/Lindstrom/Brindley but right now we are bleeding points there. Marchenko and Monahan are decent there too but as soon as the 2nd line comes out it's in trouble with Sillinger centering it. We need more players comfortable with the puck on their stick

Marchenko is becoming a star. He is so hard to get the puck from, so good at creating space. Seriously underrated

I don't think he is underrated. A very good player but not a star IMO. Although he is really strong with the puck.

• Although JJ is slow but he is better than Harris.
• Fantilli must score. I think it helps him. Although he played excellent.
• Werenski is a star.
• I like Sillinger, really. Yes there are mistakes, but he is only 21 and was playing with enforcer Olivier and grinder Aston-Reese. Btw I think he can be a good 3rd line center. But why did he play in OT?
• Johnson is becoming a star. Creative, great hockey vision, skill, better physical than last season.
• JvR was quite good.

I hope we win next game.
