I like Frank Vatrano too. Grier tried to sign him 2 years ago but Anaheim offered more money IIRC.

I like Vatrano as well, but he'll be turning 31 during the season, which is 3 years older than Boeser. Brock is a better offensive player, but undoubtedly he'll be looking for 8-9 a year. Especially if he has another 40 goal season. I don't hate it, but it would have to be contingent on Logan not coming back.

Ah yes, NHL develop players usually by sending them down to the AHL, even for conditioning. NHL don't have the development priority as their affiliated AHL team.

What are you talking about? NHL players can and do develop in all leagues, including the NHL.
