It's a 4-1 game. Sens had 25 shots. I mean Hutson played great, Guhle too and Caufield as well.

I'm surprised so many of our fans seem to think we played a bad game. We played a bad 2nd period but overall we played a good game and Monty did his job.

He's becoming so solid we're taking for granted how good he is. He made some great saves and shutdown the Sens' PP.

Yes but at one point can't give a star to the goalie every night. I know we have been used for the goalie to get a star 82 times a season but i always found that stupid. We used to give stars to goalie in 7-1 win. I mean Monty had a great game but he would have needed to be pretty bad for us to lose this. If Monty gives 5 goals tonight it's a terrible performance. At some point you got to give credit to the other players i think we played a good game overall. Hutson was awesome. Guhle too. Caufield was opportunist. If we played the 3rd like we did the 2nd then yeah a star for monty for sure.

Making something happen is sexier than preventing something from happening, which is why skaters usually get noticed over goalies. I'm cool either way; it's just cool that multiple players deserve a star!
